Psycho Comedy

Psycho Comedy are a rock 'n' roll band from Liverpool, blending elements of art punk into a sound that’s both raw and distinctive. Their debut album, Performance Space Number One, earned critical praise for its bold style and energy, marking them as a standout force in the UK underground scene. The album also charted in the official UK charts, a testament to its impact and reach beyond the underground.

Singles, Pick Me Up and Standin’, both were picked up by legendary taste-makers Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson. Commenting on Pick Me Up, Lamacq even went so far as to say ‘I quite like this’. The band also completed a BBC Introducing with local legend Dave Monks.

Known for chaotic, visceral live shows, Psycho Comedy have toured the UK and USA, leaving a trail of fuzz and poetry in their wake.

The band are currently working on their second album, which promises to push their sound further and build on the energy of their debut.
