Co-Pilot is the latest project from Alan Peter Roberts (Jim Noir) and Leonore Wheatley (The Soundcarriers / International Teachers of Pop).
The pair first collaborated when Wheatley left her native Nottingham for Manchester, joining the Jim Noir live band on keys and vocals.
This decade Roberts was busy expanding the Jim Noir universe – The last Jim Noir LP, ‘AM Jazz’ was awarded the coveted number one spot in ‘Piccadilly Records – End of Year Review’ (2020) as well as four star reviews in Mojo and Uncut. It was followed by the ‘Deep View Blue’ E.P. (2021).
The Soundcarriers released their 4th album ‘Wilds’ January 2022. It was awarded album of the year in Shindig! Magazine.
